Following the success of the Southern States campaign, NT Rugby is excited to introduce a new initiative within the Coach and Player Development Pathway – the Skills Development Program.

Starting on Monday, 5th August, and running weekly for five weeks at NT Rugby's SKYRING Rugby Park in Marrara, this program is tailored to enhance the skills and attributes of the Territory's talented boys and girls aged 13 to 18.

Robbie Butcher, NT Rugby's Pathways Manager, will spearhead the program, supported by a team of coaches from our representative programs and Club sides. Together, they will deliver a high-quality experience that focuses on both on-field and off-field development.

Program Highlights Include:

  • Fitness testing
  • Catch-pass skills
  • Breakdown skills
  • Tackle technique
  • Defensive structures
  • Game scenarios and match play
  • Recovery and rehabilitation tips

Program Dates:

  • Session 1: Monday, 5th August
  • Session 2: Monday, 12th August
