Competitions and training opportunities are provided in Nhulunbuy by East Arnhem Rugby Union here and in Alice Springs by Central Australian Rugby Union here and in Katherine by Katherine Rugby Union here.

NT Rugby Union run non-competition age groups in Darwin from 5 years old to 11 years old in a fun format for all abilities. These non-competitions are run for the purpose of introducing the sport of rugby, with an emphasis of having fun and everyone getting involved, rather than winning. This is a great way to get your child involved in the great game of rugby in a safe and positive environment.

This age range involves structured competition rugby. All teams play in a round-robin competition which lead to a finals series and competition winner. The competitions cater for all who wish to get involved with the game.
