After more than 12 years with Northern Territory Rugby Union, we take this opportunity to celebrate and thank Leanne Bennett for her outstanding contribution to rugby in the Territory.
Leanne has been a vital part of the NTRU team for more than a decade, bringing dedication, care, and enthusiasm to every aspect of her role.
While based interstate in recent years, Leanne has continued to play an essential part in keeping NT Rugby running smoothly, particularly through her coordination and behind-the scenes support of competitions and events.
Many across our community will know Leanne as the friendly face and driving force behind the Hottest 7s, ensuring the success of one of the Territory’s most iconic sporting events year after year.
Her knowledge, professionalism, and passion for the game have made a lasting impact on players, volunteers, and clubs alike.
Leanne’s attention to detail, and genuine care for people have left a lasting mark on the community.
Her contribution has helped shape the growth of rugby across the Territory, supporting players, volunteers, referees, and clubs every step of the way.
Her contribution will be felt for years to come and while Leanne will now move onto a new chapter, her legacy remains here in the Territory.
She will always be part of the NT Rugby family, and we can’t thank her enough for the years of dedication, passion, and professionalism she has given to our game.
