NT Rugby asks R U OK?

by NT Rugby

NT Rugby Union, together with Bendigo Bank Nightcliff and Coolalinga, will join forces on Saturday August 1st to host the RUOK? Round at Rugby Park.

University Pirates and Palmerston Crocs will play off for the Bendigo Bank Community Cup in a match that takes the opportunity to spread the message of how important it is to ask friends, colleagues and teammates – RUOK?

The Round is the second annual event which was conceived by Palmerston Crocs President and RUOK? Ambassador, Mick Crossman and this year will include promotion of the recently released toolkit of materials and resources that can help sporting clubs build a culture of respect, trust, authenticity and a willingness to support those who might be struggling with life.  The toolkit is called Hey Sport, RUOK?

The event will also raise funds for the RUOK? Charity with Bendigo Bank putting up $50 per try scored in the A Grade fixture.  Merchandise will be for sale from the bar and donation tins available.

Gates at Rugby Park, Marrara open at 2.30pm with matches from 4.15pm.  A Grade kick off is 7pm.

A conversation could change a life I R U OK?
